Your image goes much deeper that what you look like. It includes every aspect of how you present yourself and your music.

If your image is that you are "the real deal and it's all about your music" then, what does that look like? Create a visual expression of your music through your clothes, hair style, photo shoot location, your facial expressions. Maybe B/W photos or  sepia tones match your style better than full color.

If you are your own image consultant, it's really easy to get image ideas, go online or visit a record store and look at CD's! Choose 3-5 concepts that you like and tell your graphic designer why you like them along with your vision. It can also help if your graphic designer listens to your music.

Your image should look like your music sounds, look at some of your favorite bands and check out the look of their website, T-shirt designs, CD cover design and packaging. Put some thought into your image right down to the color and texture of your business card. Make sure your image appeals to your fans.
